Important award for the B2B portal of our client Mayr-Melnhof Karton GmbH
In 2018, we worked with our client Mayr-Melnhof Karton to develop and launch one of the most advanced B2B sales portals. The goal was to centrally align a platform with the most important customer requirements: Clarity, functionality and speed. This has been achieved: “MMK digital” has now been awarded for its innovative performance and for setting new standards in speed and communication and was able to take home the important PPI Award in the category “IoT & Digitalization”. We are very pleased about this!
MMK digital enables full service for users around the clock and convinces with transparency and clarity in all individual ordering steps. From the selection of the carton quality to GPS tracking of the delivery, all steps are geared to the needs of the customer and prepared for the most uncomplicated, transparent order processing possible.
An important component of MMK digital is our smart ORDER solution. The automated order processing reduces the administrative workload enormously, especially for large and regular orders, as the orders can be sent easily by e-mail. The tool accesses the incoming mails, reads the data completely and transfers it automatically to the platform with the help of our booking bot. There is no need to enter the individual data fields manually; the user only checks the correctness of the data and then gives the approval.
MMK digital was created on the basis of numerous workshops, surveys and feedback rounds. The insights gained from this process enabled us, together with the team from Mayr-Melnhof Karton and other partners, to focus the development on the most important customer requirements: Clarity, functionality and speed.
Now, the platform has been awarded the PPI Award in the category “IoT & Digitalization” and recognised for its innovative performance as well as for setting new standards in speed and communication – a great honour, as the “Pulp and Paper Industry” Awards are seen as the most important award in the pulp and paper industry!
